It also makes a great chamois cream for cycling and provides a barrier cream under wetsuits to prevent chafing.
The salve is a made by Karen Brunton in Taupo. Karen uses a combination of traditional Maori remedies and modern techniques to create the salve. Haumanu Sports is primarily made from native plant extracts, in oil and beeswax, with added Lavendar and Manuka.
